At Bowning Public School we undertake planning and preparation for the bushfire season. We will monitor local conditions during the bushfire season, particularly when there is bushfire activity in the area, at which time we will be advised by the NSW Rural Fire Service on the best course of action to take
An Emergency Response Plan was updated by the Principal in consultation with the Yass Rural Fire service in September 2014 to be implemented throughout the 2014/2015 bushfire season.
Get up-to-date information during the bushfire season (1 October - 31 March) should there be adverse weather conditions or bushfire activity from the following locations:
